February 2026 Half day Rush Workshop
Join me at the lovely Sideline Studio in Lewes, East Sussex for an introduction into Rush basketry.
I will be teaching participants how to make a small woven Rush bowl or table platter.
You will learn a variety of basketry processes used in Rush work, whilst making your own beautifully shaped piece to take home.
During the workshop there will be time for some experimenting and learning about Rush.
Whether you are completely new to basketry, or have made a handful of baskets, this workshop is suitable for you. Weaving is a physical process and reasonable hand strength is required.

Time: 1pm - 5pm
All materials and tools are included in the cost.

Light refreshments, tea and coffee will be provided. You’ll also the chance to browse and try on their new collection.
Terms and conditions:
To secure your place on a workshop payment must be paid in full.
If you are unable to attend a workshop I will endeavour to fill your space, if I am able to you will receive a full refund, minus a £15 admin fee. If I am unable to fill your place you will not receive a refund.
If I am unable to teach and cancel the workshop you will receive a full refund.
This workshop is suitable for anyone over the age of 14, participants under the age of 18 must attend with an adult.

There is on street parking close to the Sideline Studio, or a 15 minute walk from Lewes train station.
