Model for alternative consumption

This questionnaire and mini-making projects make up a model for alternative consumption. It enables participants (suitable for young people aged 8+) to engage with alternatives to 'traditional' consumption, by making their own product, rather that purchasing a ready made item.

Mini-making project 1

You have been assigned to make a mask, enabling you to play your own made up games, decorate it to suit your style, playing with it indoors or out and create new characters to play with your existing toys. Click on the link below for instructions.  

Mini-making project 2

You have 'landed' on project 2. This means you are going to make a bow and arrow with a target. This toy is perfect for playing indoors or outside.  You could create a compitition with your friends, or climb up trees it and fire arrows from the top of trees!

Mini-making project 3

You will be making a structure from canes and fabric. This exciting mini project will give you hours of fun either indoors or outside, playing hide of seek or making up your own games. You can add many layers of fabric or decorations to make it you own style.
